PPP Human rights (women ) wing is a new concept introduced in Islamabad capital territory Islamabad Pakistan to focus the problems faced by the women folk in multi cultural society of Pakistan .
Pakistan is a federation with its four federating units ie , province of Punjab Sindh, Baluchistan and NWFP.All the provinces have distinct geographic , linguistic and cultural characters .The situation of women’s problems vary province to province and within provinces , areas in rural and urban regions. Due to its agro based economy , our society is in an evolutionary process from tribalism/feudalism towards modernization and enlightenment . Democracy is the essence of our constitution but by repeated interferences of dictators ,this evolution process has been interrupted .

Pakistan peoples party was formed in 1967 under the auspices of Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto ,a born feudal with enlightend ideas and educated in Oxford and Barklay.He for the first time in the political history of Pakistan brought revolution in the minds of oppressed people to stand for their civil and political rights . This concept was widely spread amongst the students , lawyers , laborers and peasants. He was the first ever ruler who introduced land reforms in the country , which was a threat to the stake holders of feudalism and tribalism. PPP is still continuing this concept to aspire for the down troddens and indigenous people. PPP is the only political party , carrying this concept through social democracy .

PPP human rights is an important wing which was established by Mohterama Benazir Bhutto Shaheed in early 90’s . It focuses upon the violations of human and fundamental rights and its eradication .PPP is committed to bring drastic changes to up hold the standards of human rights in consonance with the chapter of fundamental rights as guaranteed in the constitution of Pakistan 1973 and International human rights standards.

PPP HRWW campaigns for internationally recognized women rights. Our visions is of a state in which every women enjoys all of the women rights enshrined in the universal declaration of the human rights and other international human rights standards .Our mission is to undertake research and action focused preventing freedom of conscience and expression and freedom from discrimination.With in the context of its work to promote all women rights ,
PPP human rights wing is headed by Sardar Mohammad Latif khan khosa being its chairman , a renowned Lawyer ,Former Senetor and presently holding the high office of the Attorney General for Pakistan .


PPP HRWW is in process of establishing its organization in Islamabad capital territory (ICT) and shall associate people including technocrats , Human rights activist, students ,laborers and lawyers, having in agreement with the basic ideology of PPP. In our team there are renowned technocrats in human rights field and who are committed for the protection and promotion for women rights in Pakistan .

To create and promote innovative solutions to violated women , PPP HRWW is in process of making advanced effective policies through collaboration and sharing of knowledge, information and creative approaches , with a spirit of leading the way for human rights and sustainable development all over Pakistan with large site features searchable news , analysis of human justice issues .
PPP HRWW is dedicated to secure legal ,political, social and economic equality for women.

Salient Features

• Work for social change in women behavior through informatics ideas generally featured upon information about resources and organizations fostering equal economic opportunities, environmental responsibilities, civil liberties , creation and preservation of the human rights.
• On line network system to promote knowledge among individuals and institutions to work , study and advice on women issues with the creation of new governance related network around ICT to connect with a truly global network field organization .

• Strive to eliminate discrimination and harassment in the work place, eradicate racism ,gender discrimination and promote equality and justice through mass actions.

• To ensure basic health facilities to women , with an access to basic health units and hospitals . To conduct intensive lobbying with the concerned quarters in case of non provision of these facilities. In other case ,proper legal and administrative recourse shall be initiated. Through media campaign mass awareness programs shall be initiated about the basic health facilitities.


• Operate the national sexual assault hot line and run programs to prevent sexual assault , help survivors and ensures that rapist are brought to justice.

• Ensures that women are free to make their own productive choices based on their own religious conviction.

Juveniles delinquency

J d is the most alarming problem faced by our society. Due to poor economic conditions , the state could not provide proper education , vocational trainings and health care to the juveniles. Today’s juveniles are future of our nation . The state has to ensure well being of its citizens and the youth which is integral part of the chapter of principals of policies , enshrined in the constitution . The present government is committed to implement its obligations towards its citizens , particularly focused on the youth and juveniles .Due to lack of resources , the international donors and UN organizations are required to come forward to assist Pakistan to achieve above mentioned objectives . The intense challenges of terrorism being faced by our country , has spread in our society ,most of the children belong to poor families are sent by their parents to Madras’s , unfortunately in most of them , educated with sectarian chauvinism .
Inspired by the same , they despite becoming good human beings ,they are being nurtured with intolerance and super imposing ideas upon other believers of sects.

Strategic Policy:

1.Capacity development of local Human Rights women wing.
Promotion of sustainable livelihood systems among poor and vulnerable members of society .

2.Implement action of a primary health care programme to improve knowledge and practice on diseases ,prevention and basic health care.

3.Implementation of an agricultural project in urban areas ,focusing on women economic empowerment and community development through increased agricultural production.

4.Promotion of rule of law through reform supporting activities within the formal legal sector and media campaigns.

5. Free legal aid for accused women and juveniles
6. Reforms in prison rules in general and for women prisoners particular.
7. Establishment of separate prisons for women and juveniles where atmosphere should not be of a prison but reformatory institution.

8. Well being off minor children of women prisoners and establishment of care centers for children of women in incarceration.

9. Establishment of exclusive family courts, till sub division level .

10. Rehabilitation of women/ juveniles having free from prisons and creating skill development and employment opportunities.

11.Eleminatin of death sentence of women .

12. free vocational education .

13. Child and women protection centers.

14. Poverty reduction plans to eliminate beggary.

15. Elimination of prostitution through proper study and action plan where the sex workers be given incentives and state protection and bring them to normal life .

14. Provision of soft micro loans to needy women .
